Pixie Bobs are heavily muscled and rangy in appearance and are generally larger than the average domestic cat. Typically they have a somewhat grizzled, brown spotted tabby coat. Their prominent brow line gives them an expressive and pensive looking face. Though their tails come in varying lengths, they are most desirable in the naturally bobbed, 2 to 6 inches range.
Exuberant and playful, Pixie Bobs love to run and leap and tumble. They posses remarkable athleticism. Like a puppy, Pixie Bobs will carry their toys about the house and play fetch. They are unusually trainable, and will happily go for walks on a leash.
Though wild in look, the Pixie Bob personality is "puppy-like" in devotion and it's desire for affection and attention. They make loyal and loving companions, and will follow their owners from room to room throughout the day. They are intelligent, inquisitive and intuitive.
